What We Believe

The Board of Directors of Manteca Youth Focus are united in their belief that all youth should have the opportunity to:

  • Further their educational goals
  • Participate in volunteer service
  • Develop their unique talents & abilities
  • Feel a sense of pride for the community in which they live

Manteca Youth Focus, MYF offers, specialized programming to help young people set, plan, achieve and exceed their goals. We offer training in life skills, teamwork, leadership and project planning. We are a completely volunteer-driven organization with absolutely no paid staff. Read more to learn about the caring volunteers who lead MYF.

Our mission

IT IS OUR MISSION…to develop young leaders in the pursuit of higher education, development of personal talents, and service throughout the community. These invaluable life skills help us to become the finest generation in hopes of a brighter tomorrow. Our motto, “Reaching for the Stars,” is the philosophy we instill in all young individuals. In pursuit of these “stars” our past accomplishments serve as stepping stones towards new, more challenging goals.

Our Programs

Scholarship Competition Division

Open to boys & girls ages 10-20
(as of June 1st)

Must reside or attend public, private, charter or home school within the boundaries of the city of Manteca, city of Lathrop, city of Ripon or communities of French Camp, River Islands or Weston Ranch

Every participant earns a scholarship & receives training in resume-writing, public speaking, interview and volunteer service

Open to boys & girls ages 9-21 The Student Service Team is a new program created in 2023 by our Community Service Division. You will have the opportunity to volunteer alongside other youth in our community at various events and assist numerous charitable causes including:
